Motivation for the 2012 Volkswagen Eos comes from a turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, which is good for pulsating 200 horsepower with 207 pound feet of torque. The engine is mated to six-speed automated manual transmission called DSG that sends power to the front wheels. In performance testing, it accelerated from 0 to 60 miles per hour in the time range of 7.3 seconds and offered the fuel economy of 30 mpg highway, 22 mpg city and 25 mpg in combined driving.
